NASHVILLE, TN (September 12, 2013) – Two members of the seven-piece Country group, LiveWire, crisscrossed Texas this week on a radio tour to promote the band’s current Way Out West Records’ single, “Whiskey Sunday.” Lead singer/acoustic guitarist Andy Eutsler and rhythm guitarist/harmony vocalistDanny Bell impressed radio programmers across the Lone Star state with their soulful vocals, heart-felt original songs, powerful harmonies, easy-going manner and “down home” humor. The timing of the trip helped to fuel the successful rise of “Whiskey Sunday” which entered the Texas Music Charts last week and was already Top 40 on the Texas Regional Radio Report (TRRR) and is currently #51 on MusicRow.
After one of the pair’s first stops with Mike White at KYQX 89.5 in Weatherford, TX, White posted on Facebook: “Making you all honorary North Texas Artists. Thanks for sharing your music with us today, it was indeed a pleasure. AMAZING harmony and some great story telling through music.”While performing on-air at 106.9 The Ranch KRVF in Corsicana for Nash and Carey Dean, the supercharged co-hosts of the morning drive time show, Eutsler and Bell were surprised when the hosts announced to their listeners that they “would be hearing more LiveWire on their morning drive this week.”

The reactions were similar at KWBY 107.9 in Stephenville, at KICKS 105 in Lufkin, KTEX 106.1 in Brenham,KDOL in Livingston, and in Lampasas, where Eutsler and Bell closed out their Texas run by performing two rousing acoustic sets at Texas Country 101.9‘s “Wednesday Night Live,” broadcast from the County Seat Restaurant and hosted by the station’s Ronnie Witcher. The gathered crowd was entertained by the duo with selections from LiveWire’s album LIVIN’ and a wide range of covers plucked from the pair’s arsenal of songs – causing some of the patrons to sing along with tunes by David Allan Coe, Johnny Bush and Shenandoah. Eutsler amped up the fun with his spot-on take of the George Jones’ classic “White Lightnin'” and delivered it with the same sputtering, hiccupy style made famous by “The Possum.”

Both Eutsler and Bell agreed that “Texas has been a blast!” and they are “grateful for the warm reception they have received in the Lone Star state” and “can’t wait to bring the whole band back with us to do some shows real soon!”

LiveWire will perform on Saturday with The LACS and HER (formerly Her and Kings County) at the “Redneck Games of Missouri” in Marceline, and will open for their musical idols, the Marshall Tucker Band at The Cotillion in Wichita on September 27.

LiveWire’s video for “Whiskey Sunday” debuted at CMT.com last month, and is available now on VEVO/YouTube at: http://youtu.be/IQL3ctNGNsE

In addition to Eutsler and Bell, LiveWire also features the talents of Bobby DeGonia (lead guitar/harmony vocals), Cory Shultz (fiddle/harmony vocals), Landon Rolfe (bass), Brad Allen (drums) and Scott Kwapiszeski (steel).
