Average Joes Entertainment is celebrating five albums on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart this week with the entry of “Mud Digger 4” at #8! The popular compilation series is geared toward the growing “mud” lifestyle, as highlighted in a major cover story by the Wall Street Journal on July 3, 2013. The CD features new music from Montgomery Gentry, Colt Ford, LoCash Cowboys, The LACS and more. Check out Montgomery Gentry’s new video, “Titty’s Beer,” here. The new song, written by Troy Gentry, is featured on “Mud Digger 4.”
Colt Ford hits the road this fall as a special guest on Florida Georgia Line’s “Here’s to the Good Times Tour,” which also features Tyler Farr. The tour will travel from coast to coast to 32-cities, several of which are already sold out. In addition, Ford’s new single, “Drivin’ Around Song,” featuring Jason Aldean, ships to radio today.
The LACS video, “Country Boy Fresh,” just hit 1 million views on YouTube, while the new single, “Keep It Redneck,” single comes out Tuesday, July 16. Their new album is scheduled for release later this summer.
Newcomer JJ Lawhorn’s debut album, “Original Good Ol’ Boy,” will be released tomorrow, July 16. The album will stream exclusively this week on IHeart Radio/Clear Channel. Lawhorn, recently named one of Billboard Magazine’s “New and Noteworthy Acts; Billboard Presents Bubbling Under” has recently been making the rounds visiting radio promoting “Stomping Grounds,” the lead single from “Original Good Ol’ Boy.” The track has become a favorite on Sirius/XM’s, “The Highway.”
LoCash Cowboys’ recently released self-titled album hit #25 this week on Billboard’s Top Country Album chart. Their jam-packed summer tour schedule wasn’t affected by their recent bus crash.
